I was playing around with this song today and got a recording that I think is ok enough to post. It was originally going to be a lot longer, but I liked the shortness of it. My favourite part is the ending.

Undertaker (M. Ward Cover)

Yay new song posted! Hopefully this is the start of many more.

Undertaker is a great song from M. Wards album "Transfiguration of Vincent". I stumbled across the chords and melody of the song just a little while back. It's a great song with some great lyrics, ... hopefully I can pull it off.

Inspiration, Never on Time

Its 11:45 and I feel like talking. Right before I went to bed I listened to my mp3 player (something that I'm no longer allowed to do at work), and I stumbled onto some old recordings from May that I did. Its strange ... you know how when you listen to an album you get a kind of a feeling from it, an atmosphere, well back in May, and the months after, the recordings did nothing for me, but listening to them tonight was completely different. They all had a certain style to them, something I never could hear before. ... Because of this, tomorrow I'm going post a couple of them, and then soon after some more of them that I have kinda "updated".

Also, It wasn't until now that I realize what I have on the go, I'm in the middle of writing/recording 4 songs, 1 cover, plus I want to, again, "update" some older songs. It's too bad I've been playing so much that I've made my fingers so sore.

... my post about the Rockton fair is posponed, tomorrow I want to add songs! I'm pretty sure It's about damn time.

Back to Normal

That was fun ... ish. So tomorrow everything is back to how it was, the weekend was long and busy. I want to post a big blog update very soon about my trip to the fair, ... the Rockton fair, this is just a filler update. I managed to squeeze a small amount of recording into the weekend, but it wasn't significant enough to have anything to show, to busy with family, and attitudes.

I am still searching for the guitar I want to buy, but I can't seem to find it! I'm hoping my luck will change very soon.

... I've decided I want something unexpected and exciting to happen, ... so I'm waiting.

... waiting ... waiting, ... work sucks ... waiting.

I'll Take on the Knives like the Birds of Paradise

After about 5 posts of me harassing anyone who might read this to watch the documentary on CBC I have decided a new approach. I was so fasicinated by the birds of paradise section that I found a link to a short clip from the documentary about them. They seem so foreign, alien almost. ... notice how the one bird cleans up his area! he picks up a leaf and uses it as a broom to sweep!

Solution for World Peace?

Remember that BBC program on the CBC I was talking about, "Planet Earth". Well I missed the first two episodes so I downloaded them. Today I was watching the first episode. It was amazing! The show is so epic, so emotional, and because they travel all around the world showing things you never knew (even in your own backyard) you feel so proud to live on such an amazing planet and you want to live in it as a team. Go team Earth!

I have family visiting from yesterday until Tuesday, I really wanted to post some new Ideas I've been working on but I really don't think I'll have the time too before they go. I will try though. My drums are setup and I have a bunch of Ideas kicking around ... we will see. Maybe I'll post something I wrote a-ways back.

... work is really starting to get to me, ... I don't seem to be meshing in, I feel out of place constantly.

Decision

I feel like posting another picture. This picture was taken while I was on a photo shoot with my grandfather a few weeks back. Also, the website that I upload my music onto has a top 20 most listened to artists list on its homepage. The two people in 20th and 19th place have only 140ish listens, I think it would be neat to make it onto that list, but I think I need to upload some more music.
